Lumae Studios Laser Hair Removal is a locally-owned, boutique laser studio in Idaho Falls. We use a medical-grade laser to offer professional laser hair removal, wrinkle reduction and collagen production laser rejuvenation facials, sun and age spot lightening, and vein lightening services. We specialize in safe, effective treatments for a variety of skin types and hair types. Using advanced diode laser technology with built-in cooling, treatments are designed to be comfortable while delivering long-term aesthetic results. Popular treatment areas include wrinkle reduction laser facials and laser hair removal on underarms, legs, bikini, Brazilian, and full body. Each client receives a personalized consultation and treatment plan based on their skin type and goals. Being a private and locally-owned studio means clients can receive the same medical grade results without franchise pricing. Clients typically see 85% permanent hair reduction after completion of 9-12 treatments, with the last 15% mostly being dormant hair follicles. The amount of laser hair removal treatments clients can expect to achieve these results is determined by individual variables such as treatment area, hormone levels, hair color, hair thickness, etc. Each client receives a consultation to create a treatment plan based on skin tone, hair texture, hair color, and goals. Our studio provides a private environment with a strong focus on safety, education, and results. We work in collaboration with a licensed medical provider to meet all Idaho laser safety requirements. Jenn is a certified laser technician with a background in the tanning industry, where results are achieved by accurately assessing Fitzpatrick skin types to prevent burns - the same foundational principle used in safe, effective laser treatments. Professionally trained in laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal, and a laser client herself, Jenn prioritizes education, safety, and individualized care. She holds certifications in Laser Fundamentals, Laser Tattoo Removal, Laser Safety, Didactics, and hands-on training on the Lumenis LightSheer Infinity laser, and is a Cosmetic Laser Safety Officer. She graduated with honors when receiving her Associate of General Studies degree and has 135 credits towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Katie A.
Katie is the Medical Director for Lumae Studios Laser Hair Removal. She brings over 20 years of medical experience to aesthetic care. Katie began her career in 2004 as a CNA in a dermatology office, became a Registered Nurse in 2013 earning her Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Calgary, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner through Frontier Nursing University. She most recently earned her PMHNP-C through Purdue Global. Her background includes Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and advanced aesthetics, with specialized training in laser hair removal, Fitzpatrick skin types, and laser technology. Katie prioritizes patient safety, education, and achieving beautiful aesthetic outcomes.
